Minimum Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of relevant experience or 16 years combined education/experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree. Relevant experience includes Operations (SRO level) and Training Experience.
· This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "L" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
· Current or prior SRO certification/license at ATR or on ATR Simulator or Pressurized Water Reactor or equivalent reactor (including US Navy Nuclear Field Qualified Operator EWS minimum 2 years or EOOW/PPWO minimum 2 years).
· Must meet the requirements of DOE Order 426.2, Personnel Selection, Training, Qualification, and Certification Requirements for Nuclear Facilities:
1. Bachelor’s degree and eight years’ experience or 16 years education/experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree. Experience in Operations (SRO level) and Training Experience.
2. Experience consistent with the material being presented.
3. Instructors who provide instruction on the reactor simulator to certified personnel shall hold, or have held, a Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) certification at ATR, or similar category A reactor plant (or equivalent) or have been certified on the reactor facility simulator.
4. Instructors who are responsible for instruction on subjects such as Technical Safety Requirements (TSRs), reactor operating principles and characteristics, and control manipulations shall have received SRO (or equivalent) training.

· Salary Grade 220: ($110,316 - $181,956)
