Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Able to meet/pass D.O.T. medical qualifications.
- Must pass the passenger endorsement written test at least 2 weeks prior to start date. Must possess a passenger endorsement within 2 weeks after start date.
- Must have a current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B license with no L restriction.
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must have 3 years of current and continuous driving of a bus or heavy truck (>26,000 GVW) and able to pass a practical driving test.
- Familiar with and adhere to all Federal, State, and local rules of the road that are applicable to their position.
- Bus Operations is a 24-hour operation, 7 days a week that may require working any shift and/or Holiday. Time off is not guaranteed.
Preferred Requirements:
- Knowledge of the Smith Systems Defensive Drivers Course.
Job Information
- Wage: $26.08/hr (Rate can vary based upon individual work location, clearances, and qualifications. Rates are accurate for current posting and subject to change These are bargaining unit positions.)
