Minimum Requirements: 

  • High School and 6+ years related experience.

  • A current Journeyman Wireman License

  • Master Electrician's License is required for level 5

  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "L" clearance, which requires US Citizenship. 

  • Will be required to perform overtime inspections on select nights and weekends.

  • Must obtain a commercial electrical inspector qualification with the International Code Council within 6 months of date of hire.

  • A good working knowledge of electrical testing equipment such as Continuity Testing Equipment, Insulation Resistance (Megger) Testing Equipment, Electrical Torqueing Equipment, and Fiber Optic Testing Equipment

  • Obtain and maintain a Rad Worker II qualification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified as a commercial electrical inspector with the International Code Council prior to start

Job Information: 

  • Salary Grade TS0400: 180 ($64,272 - $102,840) / Salary Grade TS0500: 190 ($72,528 - $119,652)

  • TDP: This is a testing designated position; you will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and periodic drug testing throughout the term of your employment.

  • Multi-Level: This is a multi-level posting and you will be placed at the appropriate level dependent on depth and breadth of proven experience and skills.
