Minimum Requirements:
- Advanced degree in nuclear science, engineering, or related discipline.
- Level 5 - Masters and 8 years of relevant experience or PhD and 6 years of relevant experience
- Level 6 - Masters and 12 years of relevant experience or PhD and 10 years of experience
Additional Skillset required for this position:
- Extensive knowledge of nuclear fuels and materials, irradiation testing, and post-irradiation examination.
- Proven record of strategic initiative development and ability to lead PIE program of national relevance
The ideal candidate would be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "L" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
Job Information:
- The pay range for this position is: ($134,124 - $275,136)/($161,040 - $330,156). At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.
- Multi-Level: This is a multi-level posting and you will be placed at the appropriate level dependent on depth and breadth of proven experience and skills.
