SQL Database Administrator/Developer

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years' experience or MS and 3 years of experience required OR 13 years education/experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
• This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "Q" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
• Ability to maintain/protect confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Solid understanding of general business and specialized Personnel Security fields.
• Ability to develop solutions to significant problems and recommend techniques to meet company/customer initiatives.
• Computer systems administration, applications, access controls, and separations of duties within database functionality permissions.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to handle stressful situations is vital!
• Ideal computer skills for this role include the ability to work within a complex database including writing SQL queries, monitoring, and solve the servers, and working with our outside vendor for patching, updates, upgrades, etc.
• Excellent customer communication skills, senior mentoring skills, and results ­oriented management.
• Sound judgment and decision ­making is a constant requirement to achieve results.
• Must be able to prioritize activities and resolve complex resource and budget problems.
• Must be self­-motivated and able to take the lead for timely resolution of issues.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience with HID SAFE application is recommended but not required.

• Salary Grade 210 ($91,032 - $150,156)
