Bus Driver

High School Diploma or equivalent and be able to meet/pass D.O.T. medical qualifications. Must have a current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B license with no L restriction. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must have 3 years of current and continuous driving of a bus or heavy truck (>26,000 GVW) and able to pass a practical driving test. Must be familiar with and adhere to all Federal, State, and local rules of the road that are applicable to their position. Knowledge of the Smith Systems Defensive Drivers Course is desired.
Bus Operations is a 24 hour operation, 7 days a week that may require working any shift and/or Holiday. Time off is not guaranteed.
Must possess a passenger endorsement at least two weeks prior to start date or pass the passenger endorsement written test at least 2 weeks prior to start date.

WORK CONDITIONS: Stairs, Motor vehicle use, Rotating shift work, > 8 Hrs/day, Overtime/irregular hours, Working alone.
