Minimum Requirements: 

  •  Advanced degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Physics, or a related physical science field with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience or 8 years of relevant experience after the date of achieving a Ph.D.

    U.S. Citizenship required.

    You will be experienced and published in any the following general separations technologies areas:

    • Electrochemical, electrowinning, advanced redox leaching

    • Solvent extraction (hydrometallurgy, solvometallurgy, supercritical fluid), extractive metallurgy

    • Ion exchange

    • Membrane processes, filtration processes

    • Crystallization

    • Chromatographic separations

    • Beneficiation (gravity, magnetic, flotation, sortation, etc.)

    • Sorbents, complexants, molecular recognition, MOF’s, ZIF’s, ionic liquids, etc.

  • You must be a US Citizen.

Job Information: 

  • The pay range for this position is: Level 4 ($109,260 - $223,908) / Level 5 ($130,980 - $268,680). At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.

  • Multi-Level: This is a multi-level posting and you will be placed at the appropriate level dependent on depth and breadth of proven experience and skills.
