Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Critical Infrastructure/Cyber Data Analyst to work in our Infrastructure Resilience & Analysis Department. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our Idaho Falls facility with every other Friday off. You will report to the Department Manager.
Provide onsite technical expertise in critical infrastructure security and coordinate interaction and information sharing with various partners within the U.S. government, State government, Local government, private/public industries, academia, and research related to critical infrastructure security issues and events associated with all 16 critical infrastructure sectors.
Responsibilities Include:
Provide advice and expertise in cybersecurity designs, implementation, vulnerability identification, and mitigation techniques and procedures that will aid industry and the Nation in securing critical infrastructure systems against current and latest threats.
Respond to crises or urgent situations within critical infrastructure sectors to avoid immediate and potential threats.
Develop, research, and apply advanced mitigation, preparedness, and response and recovery approaches to maximize survival of life, preservation of property, and information security.
Promote an environment with all partners at all levels to develop mutual trust and teamwork.
Conduct iformatin collection and analysis of United States critical infrastructure.
Manage teams in the creation of cyber security products.
Create related reports and provide briefings related to these issues.
Conduct technical analysis projects.
Work to fill gaps in current situational awareness across sectors and develop products to address the needs of a diverse customer set spanning multiple classification levels, federal, private, and international organizations.
Contribute to scientific and technical products such as patents, software, journal papers, reports, proceedings, and policies. May contribute to the development of intellectual property leading to patents, publications, and copyrights.
Interface with ICS and critical infrastructure protection community to meet program requirements.
Work with customers to meet project requirements including defining scope, schedule, and budget estimates, delivering the project milestones on time and on budget, future research ideas and proposals and general customer satisfaction requirements.
Advance strategic objectives to generate and sustain a unique critical infrastructure analysis and regional resilience capability for the division.
Other tasks as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, cyber security/computer sciences, or business/financial management from an accredited institution.
EX3 - You must have a BS and 5 years, MS and 2 years, Ph. D and 2 years of experience
EX4 - You must have a BS and 9 years, MS and 6 years, Ph. D and 4 years of experience.
Relevant experience determined by level experience shall include designing or applying control systems cyber security solutions in critical infrastructure at the system regional level.
You will be asked to maintain a Department of Energy Q and TS/SCI level security clearance.

Test Designated Position (TDP) Special Requirements
You can address multiple complex tasks to meet commitments while maintaining quality of work and a professional interface.
Ideal Candidate will have the below:
• Professional Engineer or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certifications.
• Relevant experience to include program management here at INL, particularly in the cyber security realm, and familiarity with industrial control systems. In-depth knowledge of the US energy sector and experience working with DOE, DOD and DHS and private industry on grid security-related projects is beneficial.

The pay range for this position is: Level 3 ($91,008 - $186,588) / Level 4 ($109,260 - $223,908). At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.
