Minimum Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years relevant technical/operational training or program management experience required, or Advanced Degree & 5+ years related experience.
  • An interdisciplinary but specialized background in instructional design, adult education, or engineering is appropriate for this position, with industrial safety, project management, public administration, business administration, nuclear science, or education providing added value.  
  • Successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) process, instructional design and technology, human performance improvement principles and tools, and adult learning best practices. 
  • Successful experience in managing technical/operational training programs for a 6,000+ people organization.  
  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "Q" clearance, which requires US Citizenship. 

Job Information: 

  • The target pay range for this position is $152,550 - $223,271 annually.  The full pay range is $124,848 - $324,600. At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.
  • TDP: This is a testing designated position; you will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and periodic drug testing throughout the term of your employment.
