- Bachelor of Science and 8 years of experience OR Master of Science and 6 years’ experience OR a PhD and 4 years' experience in an Engineering subject area.
- Experience should include at least 3-5 years of hands-on experience with energy or facility management as well as performing energy audits, identifying and implementing energy efficient projects or system retrofits.
- The ability to obtain a professional Energy Manager Certification within one year of employment from the Assoc. of Energy Engineers or other ANSI accredited program.
- Strong communications skills, both virtually and in-person and via written formats. Skill in preparation and presentation of data compilation along with project and program status reports.
- Demonstrated record of working well individually and as a member of a team and possesses excellent customer service skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 products with a particular emphasis on Excel and Access.
- Practical experience using internet-available products such as DOE-developed facility and sustainability databases.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Energy Manager Certification (CEM)
- Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)
