Responsibilities
 

Idaho National Laboratory is seeking an entry-level Project Coordinator. 

In this role you will develop, manage and assist on projects with assigned project scope from formulation stages to project control and performance measurements through project delivery and closeout. Gain technical comprehension of engineering, procurement, and industry processes including their interfaces and interdependencies. Utilize the use of construction, operations, R&D, and business systems throughout the project to assure project scope is accomplished, schedules are met, and work is completed within budget. Establish and maintain liaison with the customer throughout the efforts to resolve problems and coordinate service functions. Be responsible for assigned work in planning and establishing schedules, forecasts, budgets, parameters, etc., and monitor progress to assure schedules are met and work is performed within budget. Manage assigned project support work to ensure that it is completed on schedule, within budget, and that all work is performed in a safe manner. In conjunction with completing the work on schedule and within budget ensure every effort is being employed to make sure that the technical and functional requirements specified by DOE are being met.

You will also be responsible to compile, analyze, format and edit a wide range of documents, (i.e., Maintenance Work Requests for Statements of Work/Davis Bacon/Vendor Data Schedules, reports and metrics, etc.

Your primary responsibility will be to support PMs, but not exclusively. 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma plus 8 years professional experience or Bachelors degree in Business Administration..

Must be able to obtain and maintain an active DOE "Q" clearance.

 

Candidates must have current experience working on project teams.

Candidates must have six sigma green belt project experience.

 

Candidates should have experience managing construction contracts and budget.

 

Functional knowledge of environmental compliance regulations preferred.

Project Management Level One Certification.

Work Conditions: Facility: High noises (>85 dB), heights, stairs; Environmental Conditions: heat stress, cold stress, UV (sun) exposure; Equipment: ladders motor vehicle use, typing/keyboard; Personnel Requirements: >8 hrs./day, working alone.
 
Certifications:  Testing Designated Position (TDP)
