Fuel Modeling and Simulation Summer Internship

In this paid internship you will perform simulations of accident tolerant fuels using advanced reactor modeling and simulation software. You will focus on rod to rod friction/contact problems. Reporting to the Computational Frameworks group. This team works a 9x80 schedule, and works onsite at our Idaho Falls campus. Start date and duration of internship vary based on project and student availability. You may be eligible for course credit for this internship if approved by your university.
Minimum Requirements:

Doctorate Degree Program enrolled full time at an accredited college/university studying Nuclear Engineering, or related field

A minimum overall 3.0 GPA

Authorization to work in the U.S. (including CPT and OPT)

Compensation and Benefits:

PhD Internships Post-Candidacy ($33.75/hour - $36.06/hour)
