Minimum Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree & 12 years experience or equivalent experience, or advanced degree & 8 years experience.

  • Work in secured area, handling and storing and processing classified information, using combination locks and extensive range of passwords and combinations.

  • Established skills in presentations and written communications for accreditation, event investigations and program execution.

  • Must be available and be able to respond in a reasonable manner during off-hours as required to maintain accreditation of secured facilities.

  • The various assigned roles as alternate COMSEC Custodians/Officers, and TEMPEST shall have a working knowledge of system functions, security policies, technical security safeguards, and operational security measures.

  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "Q" clearance, which requires US Citizenship; and with ability and willingness to complete polygraph and become a full-time member of the FIE.
