Power Systems Postdoctoral Researcher

Minimum Requirements: 

• The candidate should have a PhD Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or related field. PhD requirements must be completed by commencement of appointment and within the previous 5 years. 
• Demonstrated technical understanding, research collaborations, and professional recognition through a developing publication record in one or more of the following technical research related areas: distribution systems, transmission systems, microgrid design, power electronics, dynamic and transient energy systems, modeling and simulation of complex systems, advanced controls, and analysis involving interaction of multiple physical systems. 
• Past experience contributing and collaborating on proposal writing and research project execution.

Preferred Experience: 

• The ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is highly desired.
• Knowledge of one or multiple programing languages and software used for power and energy systems modeling and simulation are a plus. Examples include: RSCAD, PSCAD, Python, Matlab and Simulink, OpenDSS, CYME, PSS/E, PSLF.

• Salary Grade: $95,004.00 Annually
