Senior Nuclear Research Facility Systems Engineer

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable engineering subject area and 5-8+ years relevant engineering experience, or a master’s degree and 3-6+ years relevant experience.
• Applicable degrees include; Mechanical, Nuclear, Chemical, Electrical, and Instrumentation & Control’s engineering.
• Ability to design, analyze and evaluate systems
• Ability to communicate with operations, engineering, nuclear safety, maintenance, and programmatic personnel both verbally and through written products
• Ability to identify and complete engineering work tasks such as design efforts, maintenance activities and operating written instructions
• Ability to plan, organize, and lead engineering work
• This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "Q" clearance, which requires US Citizenship

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience performing system engineering functions within a nuclear facility/environment
• Professional Engineering License

Job Information:

• Salary Grade PR0300 - 220 ($107,520 - $177,336) or PR0400 - 230 ($121,212 - $206,232)
