Business Continuity Professional
Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Business Continuity Professional to work in our Environment, Safety, Health and Quality department. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our Idaho Falls facility with every other Friday off.
You will report to the Manager of Emergency Management, and you will be responsible for implementation of the requirements of DOE order 150.1B. Establish and ensure the capability to sustain Idaho National Laboratory (INL) mission essential functions during continuity incidents. Provide leadership and coordination in the program management of the INL Continuity of Operations (COOP) program. Work on complex problems and provide direction to a group of subject matter experts from affected organizations that implement essential supporting activities.
Responsibilities Include:
- Program Administrator for the INL COOP program.
- Responsible for implementation of the requirements of DOE order 150.1B.
- Establish and ensure the capability to sustain INL mission essential functions during continuity incidents.
- Provide coordination in the program management of the INL COOP program.
- Work on complex problems and provide direction to a group of subject matter experts from affected organizations that implement essential supporting activities.
- Comply with Laboratory policies, standards, and procedures (e.g., ESH&Q and safeguards and security performance and compliance).
- Complete assigned work on time, on budget, and in accordance with expectations.
- Complete relevant critical outcomes and annual progress toward achieving INL strategic goals.
- Facilitate implementation of compliant emergency management products and services in a safe, effective, and compliant manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Level 3: Bachelor of Science degree and (5) years of relevant experience or master’s degree and (2) years of relative experience or lieu of degree (11) years of relevant experience.
- Level 4: Bachelor of Science degree and (9) years of relevant experience or master’s degree and (6) years of relative experience or lieu of degree (15) years of relevant experience.
- Relevant experience commensurate with level which could include COOP/Business Continuity and/or Security operations relating to nuclear material and/or emergency preparedness (Proforce, National Homeland Security, Material Asset Protection, RAD engineering, Emergency Management/Service).
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "Q" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
Job Information:
- The pay range for this position is Level 3: ($77,628 - $159,228) / Level 4: ($93,204 - $191,076). At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.
- TDP: This is a testing designated position; you will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and periodic drug testing throughout the term of your employment.
- Multi-Level: This is a multi-level posting and you will be placed at the appropriate level dependent on depth and breadth of proven experience and skills.
