Counterintelligence Officer
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college plus Twenty (20) years of experience as a CI officer or special agent preferably with the FBI or Department of Defense conducting CI program activities to include sensitive inquiries or espionage investigations.
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "Q" / SCI clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
- A comprehensive understanding of applicable laws, orders, guidelines, directives, policies and procedures as related to all CI activities.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the USIC agencies’ missions and objectives.
- Must have advanced interviewing and elicitation skills as well as demonstrated evidence of excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must have functional computer literacy and be proficient in common computer applications and network applications.
- Must have experience in providing CI support to Technology Protection.
- Individual is subject to a random CI scope polygraph examination.
Preferred Requirements:
- A Master’s Degree in similar fields.
- Degree with fields such as law, national security or international relations
- Cultural expertise or knowledge about Asia.
- Five years overseas experience

- Salary Grade PR0400: 220 ($107,520 - $177,336) / Salary Grade PR0500: 230 ($121,212 - $206,232)
