Data Scientist

Minimum Requirements:

• PR0100 Bachelors Degree | Masters Degree | or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics
• Must have experience developing software in C++ and in one of the following R, Python
• Must have experience utilizing and developing in MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL databases
• Must have a thorough understanding of design principles and database concepts for both SQL and No-SQL databases
• Must have and understanding of Object Oriented programming
• Desired Experienced in network cyber security and the ability to use Splunk to extract data and build reports
• Must be able to work in a culturally diverse environment

Preferred Requirements:

• Special Requirements and/or Training, if any:
• Experience with AI/ML, Data Science, or Computer Science
• Experience, understanding, or familiarity with any of the following is desirable:
• Natural Language Processing Techniques, signal processing, computer vision, deep learning, statistics, applied linear algebra, partial differential equations, discrete mathematics, real & complex analysis, network analysis
• Python, C#, C++, Java, Docker, Spark, graph databases, relational databases, PyTorch, Keras/TensorFlow, Linux, High Performance Computing
• Ability to hold a DOE Q security clearance

Salary Grade PR0100 200 ($81,288 - $134,100)
