Electrical Quality Inspector

Minimum Requirements:

·         High School Diploma and 6+ years related experience.

·         A current Journeyman Wireman License

·         This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "L" clearance, which requires US Citizenship

·         Will be required to perform overtime inspections on select nights and weekends.

·         Must certify as a commercial electrical inspector with the International Code Council within 1 year of date of hire

·         A good working knowledge of electrical testing equipment such as Continuity Testing Equipment, Insulation Resistance (Megger) Testing Equipment, Electrical Torqueing Equipment, and Fiber Optic Testing Equipment

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary.

·         Must be able to obtain and maintain a Rad Worker II qualification

·         Meet minimum requirements as outlined in INL’s Quality Inspector Progression Plan for assigned area

Preferred Requirements: 

·         Certified as a commercial electrical inspector with the International Code Council prior to start

·         Master Electrician

·         Salary Grade TS0400: 180 ($64,272 - $102,840) / Salary Grade TS0500: 190 ($72,528 - $119,652)
