MFC Quality Engineer

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree plus 8 years’ experience, or Master of Science degree plus 6 years’ experience, or PhD and 4 years’ experience. 16 years’ experience will be considered in lieu of degree. applicable quality experience is considered relevant.
• Degree must be in a quality related technical field.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the following:

1. Department of Energy "L" clearance, which requires US Citizenship
2. Familiarity with common INL NDE area (e.g.., RT, MT, PT, UT, and VT) implementing processes.
3. Proficiency with implementing INL Quality Assurance Program processes. (e.g., PDD-13000, LST-1118, NQA-1, Software Quality Requirements, ASME B31.1 and B31.3, ASME Section III, V, VIII & XI, AWS D 1.1, and AWS D 1.6. and other national quality standards)
4. Site specific and Work Organization specific qualifications as assigned.

• Must be able to achieve the following qualifications within the first 12 months of assignment.

1. INL Quality Engineer
2. Radiation Worker I
3. INL Lead Assessor
4. INL Quality Assurance Auditor

Job Information

Salary Grade PR0400: 220 ($107,520 - $177,336)
