Required:
• PhD in Nuclear Engineering, Materials Science, Computer Science or comparable disciplines. Must be completed by commencement of appointment and within the previous 5 years
• Demonstrated oral and published written communication skills in English
• Advanced software development experience in C++ is required
• Experience with the modeling and simulation methods and numerical libraries or finite element frameworks such as PETSc or libMesh.
Desired Skills
• Experience with the Multiphysics Object Oriented Simulation Environment (MOOSE)
• Experience with the Python programming language
