National Reactor Innovation Center (NRIC) Technical Program Manager

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and 12 years, or Master's degree and 8 years, or PhD and 6 years relevant experience in Nuclear, Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or other related degree
• 5 years of experience in technical program management
• Experience in systems engineering or engineering design of pilot plants and experimental facilities
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance; therefore, US citizenship is required
• This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "Q" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.

Preferred Requirements:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Nuclear, Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or other related degree
• Experience leading projects in an environment with chemical, radiological, or other industrial hazards
• Experience as a technical lead or system architect in nuclear or process technology development
• Experience with construction project management
• Experience in the maritime industry or supporting related projects/programs
• Experience motivating others to act by creating a shared sense of vision/purpose, communicating clearly, and using a collaborative leadership approach
• Ability to think strategically, innovate, and understand customer needs on complex engineering projects

Job Information:

• Salary Grade PR0400- 230 ($121,212 - $206,232)
