Senior Technical Advisor, Space Fission
Minimum Requirements:

PR0400: PhD and 4 years or a MS and 6 years experience in and engineering field, nuclear or physics preferred

PR0500: PhD and 6 years or MS and 8 years in and engineering field, nuclear or physics preferred

Must have at least 4-6 years of reactor design experience, specifically with Space Nuclear Reactors

Must be able to quickly assess and review design from other sources and provide feedback and assessments to senior leadership.

Must be collaborative, being able to work with industry, national laboratory, and government leaders effectively, both at the engineering level and the senior leadership level

Must be an effective mentor, helping to grow less-experienced staff into effective space reactor engineers

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "Q" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
