Software Developer

Minimum Requirements: 

• Level 2: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, computer information systems, information technology or related field and at least 2 years of direct professional experience.
• Level 3: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, computer information systems, information technology or related field and at least 5 years of direct professional experience.
• May accept experience in lieu of education commensurate with level (Level 2 position requires a HS Diploma or equivalent and at least 8 years of relevant/direct professional experience in place of degree; Level 3 requires a HS Diploma or equivalent and at least 11 years of relevant/direct professional experience in place of degree).
• U.S. Citizenship is required

Ideal candidate will have direct professional experience in the following:

• Experience using Jira or similar tool.
• Experience with .NET 6 and .NET Core, C#, SQL Server, or similar.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, and NET WebAPI interfaces.
• Experience with Oracle PLSQL.
• Experience with LINQ to SQL and Entity Framework.
• Experience with continuous integration, and deployment using Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Agile, Kanban development methodologies.
• Experience with Dapper, JavaScript, Bootstrap.

Job Information: 

• The pay range for this position is: Level 2 ($77,628 - $159,228) / Level 3 ($93,204 - $191,076). At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.
• Multi-Level: This is a multi-level posting and you will be placed at the appropriate level dependent on depth and breadth of proven experience and skills.

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this classification, the employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, bend, use hands to handle materials, manipulate tools, keyboard, and type, reach with hands and arms, and operate job-related equipment.
