Minimum Requirements: 

PR01: Bachelor's degree. Prefer a degree in technical/science/engineering.

PR02: Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of two years related experience. Prefer a degree in technical/science/engineering.

Related experience includes, but is not limited to:

-Experience or education in business, intellectual property and/or law also preferred, however, on the job training is anticipated for intellectual property and other areas. 

-A demonstrated ability to perform market valuations and evaluate the market potential for new and emerging technologies

-A demonstrated ability to work as part of a team of intellectual property management professionals

-Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn.

-Must be a US Citizen. Must be able to obtain and maintain a US DOE L-clearance.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Strong preference towards degrees in technical/science/engineering.
  • Experience in performing market analysis, patent analysis, prior art review, management and/or commercialization of emerging technologies at a business, organization, or university including contract negotiation, technology transfer, and intellectual property management.

Job Information

  • Salary: Grade 170 ($55,656 - $89,112) / 180 ($62,640 - $100,224)

  • TDP: This is a testing designated position; you will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and periodic drug testing throughout the term of your employment.
