  • Ph.D. in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field with a strong emphasis on TEM.
  • PhD requirements must be completed by commencement of appointment and within the previous 5 years
  • Extensive experience in TEM, including sample preparation, imaging, and analysis.
  • Proven ability to conduct independent research and a strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Proficiency with TEM-related software for data analysis and image processing.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative research environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with TEM characterization of nuclear materials.
  • Familiarity with other microscopy and characterization techniques such as SEM, and XRD.
  • Hands-on experience with advanced TEM techniques such as electron diffraction, EELS, and tomography.

Job Information:

  • Annual Salary: $101,196
