Responsibilities |
Idaho National Laboratory (INL) is seeking an experience Program Manager for the WSComm program. Serve as WSComm Program Manager for development and expansion of a wireless communications R&D program for the Communications and Modeling Department in support of the National and Homeland Security mission areas at INL.
Current projects will be as assigned by the CISR Division Director and Department Manager and will include wireless communications systems research, development, demonstration and deployment. Assignments may extend into collaborative research with autonomous systems, process control, SCADA, and cyber for programs supporting the US Government.
This role is expected to provide leadership for: 1) Innovative technical research and program development in support of DoD, DoJ, and DHS clients to include development of programmatic strategy and business planning consistent with N&HS strategic and business objectives; 2) Development of strategic relationships with key government and industrial work-for-others clients; 3) Collaboration with INL scientists and engineers to leverage and enhance INLs R&D capabilities and science base; 4) Ensuring work is performed in a safe, secure, cost-effective, and compliant manner, consistent with the INL mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures and within defined cost, scope, and schedule; 5) Development of proposals, statements of work, and cost estimates in accordance with established processes and procedures; and 6) Completion of other duties as assigned by Critical Infrastructure Security and Resilience Director and Communications & Modeling Department Manager.
Independently identifies new funded work opportunities, directs technical teams to respond to those opportunities, generates proposals, and secures funding for self and others. |
Baccalaureate and 12 years of relevant program/project management experience. Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain Q-clearance and SCI access, and willingness to complete US Government polygraph upon request.
Capable of effectively working in secured areas, handling and storing and processing classified information, using combination locks, extensive range of passwords and combinations, and various biometric devices. | |||
