Fabrication Planner

Minimum Requirements:

• Baccalaureate plus 5 years relevant experience, or Advanced Degree plus 3 years relevant experience, or a minimum of 13 years relevant experience in lieu of degree
• Experience in Project Management/scheduling (managing project, project teams, initial to project completion)
• Working in fabrication developing fabrication designs and defining standards.
• Working in welding defining design elements, requirements, and standards.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in writing and through verbal dialog.
• Must understand Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Must be able to perform assigned duties with limited oversight from management.
• Must be capable of satisfactorily completing facility specific, continuous, and professional development training.
• Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining medical qualifications so as not to limit satisfaction of the minimum requirements defined in this document.
• Must have expert skills in the fabrication process, must be familiar in the use of all major machine shop equipment including the use and programming of computer numerical control equipment.
• Proficiency in the use of computers and Microsoft Office Suite
• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.

Preferred Requirements:

• Knowledge of welding and other manufacturing processes

• Salary Grade 190 ($70,680 - $116,616)
