  • B.S. degree in Science and Engineering and 5 years experience, MS degree and 3 years of experience, or a PhD and 2 years of experience.
  • National Electrical Code Knowledge
  • Willingness to perform field work
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE "L" clearance, which requires US Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in Science and Engineering and 12 years experience, or M.S. degree and 10 years experience.
  • Certification such as Commercial Electrical Inspector and or Building Plans Examiner through the International Code Council (ICC) or the International Association of Electrical Inspectors (IAEI) is a plus. If the applicant does not have one of these certifications, it will be a requirement of maintaining the position for the employee to get one of these certifications within one year.
